giving birth.......

"All creation anticipates the day when it will join God's children in glorious freedom from death and decay. For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. And even we Christians, although we have the Holy Spirit with in us as a foretaste of future glory, also groan to be released from pain and suffering." Romans 8:21-23

Child birth, what a great analogy for Paul to use here. I've never, nor will I ever taste the physical pain of giving birth to a child.(Thanks God!), However this past year has sure been a TEST of my emotional, and spiritual muscles, and endurance. reality is Paul chose the perfect way to explain what's going on in this world. it's bad out there, life's not easy, and the enemy is on the rampage. it hurts! Bad! but don't loose heart, the birth is almost over. Who ever knew that if you one could endure so much pain, that the joy of a child would follow. I've heard that the joy of that moment, seeing your child for the first time wipes away all pain. although I haven't experienced it physically, I'm a walking, talking example of how if you can just hold on, endure a little bit more "birth pains" the joy of what God has for you tomorrow, will ABSOLUTELY heal the pain of yesterday. So what ever your going through now, don't loose heart, God's got a plan; He is faithful, and will see you through it.You may never forget the pain of yesterday, but the joy of today, can't compare. HE IS FAITHFUL.
